If there is any post to take the time to read today, let it be this one.  Here in Portland, there is a label/consignment shop called Tender Loving Empire.  They are hands down some of the nicest people we’ve ever met.  Recently, they came up with a business plan that could potentially revolutionize how music purchasing works, allowing for fans to pay artists/indie labels whatever they want!  You could pay $0, or you could pay $20.  The idea is to stimulate a more intimate relationship between the fans and whomever they are buying from.  It’s also important to note that when you donate more than the regular price, there will be incentives.  In this amazing video that TLE has created, you will be given examples of some of the incentives they are going to be giving if they meet their goal with the fundraiser.
